WHO WE ARE
The World Is Your Dumpster is a Collective of provocative, eco-concious, outdoor lovers who want to ask you one simple question: What is the fate of the trash you leave behind? As athletes, our love for the outdoors and preservation of our environment is only natural. Seriously, how could we neglect something that gives us so much? What does happen to all the trash that people carelessly throw wherever they feel like it? Where does it end up? Do they care? Should we care?

For the last five years, I have given up wrapping gifts with wrapping paper and instead using old newspapers. Not only does this save a bunch of money during an already expensive holiday, but it also re-purposes one-time-use items and creates less waste….

I work in a small office with an even smaller “kitchen.” As a nice gesture, our boss purchased a Keruig coffee machine and disposable coffee cups to accommodate this tasty beverage. 5 days a week, I wear a laundered or dry cleaned shirt to work. Each shirt is meticulously pressed and hung using one of the “We Heart Our Customers” hangers and wrapped in a plastic bag. At the end of the week, I would toss five or more hangers in the recycling bin…
